ยูฟ่าเบท a tabloid in the land of sausages, revealed the news that Borussia Dortmund is ready to let Donyell Malen, a small winger. Leave the club if a suitable offer is received in the new year market. The

Dutch player moved from PSV Eindhoven to join the “Yellow Tigers” since 2021 with a 5-year contract.

The right winger of the Dutch national team has played 17 games in all competitions this season. Scoring 4 goals and 1 assist.

However, the report claims that Dortmund is open to selling him from the club. If an offer is received between 25-30 million euros.

It was also stated that Malen also wants to move out of Signal Iduna Park.

Premier League Calling?

The 25-year-old winger has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League. With several clubs having been monitoring Malen’s situation since the summer.

Some of the clubs interested in the Dutchman include Everton, Nottingham Forest, Brentford, and Crystal Palace.

However, there is one issue with a move to these clubs, according to Malen.

The player has high expectations and wants to move to a club that has European football such as Arsenal or even Barcelona in Spain.

Malen has talent, there is no doubting that. However, he may not have done enough when playing for BVB to encourage other clubs competing in Europe to take a chance on him.

What’s more, Dortmund are asking for €25m-€30m for the winger. That’s a big fee for someone who hasn’t shown great form over the past 12 months.

It’s not been ruled out that a loan move could be arranged. However, one thing is for sure; Malen’s day at BVB appears numbered.
