Croatian Government supported the project of XD Concept

Prime Minister of Croatia Mrs. Jadranka Kosor at todays promotion of DOK-ING's urban electric automobile concept held at Croatian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency supported the project of launching the production of the first Croatian automobile and handed the Award to the company. On this occasion, the director of APIU Agency, Mr. Sani Ljubunčić, handed also the award to Igor Jurić, designer of XD.

At the ceremony organized by the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, the Prime Minister Kosor promissed Governmental support to this important project developed as the result of Croatian knowledge and brains.

In the following months I will be travelling a lot and in the meetings with my Prime Minister colleagues I shall promote this product and try to encourage the investors, said Mrs. Kosor. The DOK-ING company initiated the concept of the first Croatian urban electric vehicle XD in 2009. So far the company developed various prototypes of electric machines intended for use in mine clearance, mining industry and fire fighting. The Government shall make special efforts in order to start production of the electric automobile in 2011 and to make it a recognizable Croatian brand in the future, stressed Mrs. Kosor.
